Default ebay question... what does this mean

i ordered something off ebay today. already paid through paypal. then i get an email from ebay saying that the listing was removed because it violated their policies.

Dear robert mills,

Please be aware that the following listing:

Item Number - 5783434944
Item Title - BEST LG VX7000 VX6100 VX8000 USB DATA CABLE & SOFTWARE

has been removed by eBay for violating of one or more of our policies. Any offers or bids placed on this listing are now null and void. Because the auction was ended, you as a bidder are not required to complete the transaction. Since this is a listing violation, the seller is free to relist the item in the proper format. Should you wish to do so, you are free to bid on the item again if it is relisted.

Please review eBay's Listing Policies and User Agreement at the following locations:

http://pages.ebay.com/help/sell/policies.html
http://pages.ebay.com/help/policies/user-agreement.html

We thank you in advance for your cooperation.

Regards,

eBay Trust & Safety

Email the seller and tell him you'll pay for it anyway.

I'd file a refund request or something thru PayPal ASAP since you already paid for it.

it should still ship. ebay was the only one with the problem. the seller got your payment so he has all your info and you obviously want what he's selling so he should still ship it no prob.

in theory

Yeah, technically ebay has no jurisdiction over whether the seller can actually sell it to you or not.

i'm sure it was just a violation, because the software is a copy.

The people above are correct, he can still sell it to you. If nothing happens, file a dispute with paypal.

I would get a refund, if you go thru with the transaction and he bends ya. Im sure eBay is going to say their protection policy was not in effect. And since paypal is owned by eBay?
