Default anyone have a dell dimension 3000?

a friend of mine got a barebones computer from a website and it came with a dell dimension 3000 motherboard. i managed to download the video and audio drivers from dell's site, but i can't seem to get ahold of the usb controller driver. if you have this computer, it came with a resource cd with all the necessary drivers on it. if you have it, i need you to hook a brotha up with the drivers :happysad:

I don't think you need a specific driver for USB, windows XP/2000 has built in USB support.

delete all the USB controllers/hubs in device manager, and reboot. It should find, reinstall, and fix your problem. If not make sure it has all the lastest updates, and patches for XP.

problem with the updates and such is that his network adapter is USB, so he's got no interweb until the usb is working.
