Does anyone have the tanabe Racing Medllion catback exhaust on there car? My buddy has one for my car that he'll sell me for $250.00 Just want some feedback on how it sounds and performs. Its between the Tanabe Racing Medllion or the APexi WS. Oh and the car is a 93 civic Si hatch

Does he have the silencer to go with it? If you can get the exhaust for that price and he hasn't lost the silencer, then you should get it. I like the tone of Tanabe exhausts.

You're comparing a canister-style muffler (Racing Medallion) to an oval-style muffler (WS). All canister style mufflers are loud as balls. If you don't want something loud then you won't want a canister style muffler.
There are plenty of people who talk about how their particular canister style muffler sounds "deep." Don't let them mislead you. They are loud exhaust people. Anyone who uses the word "deep" when talking about an exhaust for use on a 4-banger car is a loud exhaust person trying to describe their loud exhaust without using the word "loud."
See this thread for a definition of loud exhaust people.

you are basically comparing two completely opposite exhaust systems.
stainless piping (i think) / mild piping (i think the WS2 has stainless piping now)
cannister / oval
loud as fuck / quiet as fuck
ugly / classy
i <3 the WS's i had on my civic and integra. and i <3 my greddy SP on my EF.
intake sound >>> exhaust sound IMO.
