Default San Diego peeps....

Anyone going to the Comic Con this year? Was wondering if you can get tickets at the door?..or if you have to register beforehand? What is around the area to visit? Any other good places to visit? There is a chance I might be heading down there. w000t

1. You can pre-buy tickets
2. you can pay at the door(but it will be more expensive i think)
3. you can pay to get a pass that gets you in for the whole weekend or just a single day.
4. It's usually held at the Convention center downtown
5. The famous gaslamp district is a few blocks away, so you can grab a bite to eat and some beer, and if you're there in the evening you can go clubbing
6. The new ballpark is down there, you can always catch a padres game

awesome. i already checked the site before and had nothing about buying tickets at the door. i was just wondering if it was mandatory to pre-buy the badges.

thanks!

the event is actually called International Comic-Con. its like a SEMA show for comics, movies, action figures, etc. Everyone from the industry usually shows up to this event.

we have a similar event called Wonder-Con up in norcal...but it is not as good

I went like 3 years ago and saw this hot blonde walking away from me with two big black dudes, mind you I never saw her face, then I said "Damn that looks like Donna D'Ericos ass.--Baywatch chick" Next thing you know she turns around and it was her!! I knew her by her ASS!!

The chick I was with started cracking up

Buy at the door dood. Its just like the movies and shit. So much easier right then and there. It doesnt get to the point that it sells out.

Plus I think that the local paper has a coupon for 3 bucks off on either the Sat. or Sun. paper the week prior to the Comic-Con. I'll see if I could collect some if you guys do decide to come down here for a meat.
