charging car battery ..
so my moms car battery is dead or needs a jump.. i dont have jumper cables, but i do have a battery charger.. thing is, i cant get the charger out to the car, so i wanna take the battery out of the car and charge it
i read somewhere before that i need to attach a cable b/w the negative connectors....
is this really necessary, or can i jus hook it up, and watch it charge?
its a schumacher se-1052 i found in the garage :dunno:

Connect positive to a piece of metal.
Connect negative to same piece of metal.
Touch piece of metal.
Problem of the world solved.
