Mmm..I just got a new external hard drive. I copied over all my music and deleted it from my other hard drives. Then my comp crashed. I was on the verge of tears because I couldn't find my music. I have 25 gigs of music, about half of it I don't have on cds. But short story shorter, I found it all.

Was your reformatingation an accident or on purpose?

How do you reformat a drive accidently? I dont think Dom is that :loco:

Theres ways for everything. I almost erased my drive when trying to install this one, but luckily my dad, a computer programer, said thats a bad move. I hate fdisk... And win98

- wanted to install pchop cs2
- needed to upgrade to service pack 2 to do that
- upgraded to sp2, comp slowed down a lot, turns out, pchop cs2 i got had lots of spyware
- my defenses could not contain 2 viruses
- went and installed symantec antivirus, and could only quarantine one of them
- backed up my shiet
- reformatted, installed sp1 so that i could run this maxtor program so that it would allow me to use 160gb
