Well, it finally happened. My 94 civic was broken into. The thieves smashed my driver's side window and went from there. They took my Pioneer 7400 deck, Kicker L7 sub, amp, cap, crossover, all my cd's, and my toolkit. Now I have glass all over and I need a window.

I won't be getting anything from insurance, so I'm kinda out on my own here with the stuff. I can't really replace the stereo stuff, so for now I just have to find a window and I'll probably put back in my stock Honda tape deck so I at least have a radio, since I don't have any cd's anymore anyway

I even had the trunk release in the interior locked, but these guys actually drilled out the core of the lock anyway and just popped my trunk. Hopefully I can get the civic back on its feet soon. I just have to remember that this is all just material stuff that can be replaced.

Actually, no. I'm doing an internship working down in Missouri for the summer around the St.Louis area. It sucks that I'm not even close to home when it happened, so it's tough to find ways to fix it down here.

It does happen in south dakota, but I am a lot less worried when I'm up there. No offense to anyone from big cities, but there is definitely something to be said for the safety you have in a small area. People are a lot nicer in South Dakota.

 

is south dakota still a state in the US? i thought we sold that to canada a couple years ago....

Yeah, I'm glad that the damage wasn't more than it was and my car is still in my possession at least. I'll get it all back together soon hopefully.
