It takes me AT MOST 2 hrs to backup, reformat, and download/install everything i had running beforeh:
it take <10 minutes to reboot into safe mode, run adaware and spybot and reboot back into normal mode.

Thats what I mean.

I had some key logger spyware that I could not get rid of.
When on one of those sites,.. and had one of the experts guide me through the process. Had to download 4 or 5 progs, but he did get it off.

go into safe mode and run adaware, spybot, hijackthis, cwshredder and do a manual registry cleanup and you should be good.

also, check add/remove programs and remove anything that looks suspicious.
