Congrats man. I"m still debating on my situation with the real estate licence. My broker friend said its cake. Just take 3 courses and you're done. How hard did you find the RE courses and what did you take? He suggested the mandatory real estate principles, real estate law, and just some random easy course like RE office admin.

Its a lot harder in Colorado versus most states. You're required to take 168 hours of coursework before you're even eligible to take the test. I took a $1100 course from a well-reputed real estate college that offers courses specifically geared towards test-taking... I was very well prepared for the state side, but the federal side threw me a few curves. I got a 95% general and 93% state on the mock-test (you're required to get 75% on the actual test), so I probably over-prepared a little, but I'm also a very good test-taker/short-term-rememberer.

My courses were Law & Practice, Contracts & Regulations, Trust Accounts, Record Keeping, Closings, Current Legal Issues and Test-prep.
