For those of you who have a site, how did you promote it? I still haven't gotten listed on google, and on yahoo and msn I have really low ratings. I'm tempted to pay for those things that increase your ratings, but i'll wait. Not to mention I'm worried about promoting it to other sites and publishers since i don't think it looks professional.

i love web design, particularly graphics and coding. here are a couple things i've done in the past..(i've designed well over 50 sites for local businesses, professionals, etc...)
