i'm seriously thinking about going back to college. i went to rutgers for 2 years right after HS and only got 15 credits to show for it due to my then immaturity and irresponsibility. i am now 24 with a steady full time job making mid 40K, but feel that without a degree, i can only go so far. i dont have too much debt or rent, just a car and a credit card. i've gotten used to living and eating a certain way with the budget i have now. is it hard to return to poor student mode after a 4 year lay off?

 

very very tough. Im doing the online version, full time while working etc. its doable, and i'm glad im doing it, but man, its tough.

 

i took a year off and i went back with no problems really. im actually moving out and living in a dorm in the fall i think, so that will be interesting

 

it would be much easier going back soon i'd think. i had moved out and started a full career / family before I went back
