Hopefully soon they'll stop working on response time and start working on color quality and contrast.

I fear the day that I have to buy a LCD and replace my old CRTs. These things are a thousand times better than any LCD on the market.

they're also better for eye strain/fatigue.

edit: advertised response time is very very biased and can't be trusted. there is no standard way for manufacturers to measure response time, and each manufacturer does it differently with each monitor they produce to make the numbers look better on paper. a more standard, unbiased test is needed to determine a valuable response time. when they say 4ms, i doubt it..... it's probably a lot higher than that.
