i'm thinking about purchasing this. because i dropped my cellie in a puddle and it no longer works.
i just don't understand what the requirements are to make it work... do i just slap in my sim card and i'm good to go?
my phne is an at&t if that matters at all. thanks.

I have one of these. Mine was obviously meant for a Spanish market because the dictionary for T9 messaging defaults to Spanish words and all the preset messages were in Spanish.
I have Cingular and the display says "AT&T Wireless" when its connected to that network.
