Yep me and my non-conformist approach to editing again.

I think this one slid a bit more towards green than I wanted

So fuck conformity I will edit how I see fit

Thanks the guy in the second pic works at Cal Skate up here in Portland, he was ripping it up pretty hard that day too. I am probably going to print a copy of that shot and take it into the shop for them.

Just wait till my flash shows up this week...my shots are going to be a lot beter and as always I will process them as I wish and no one else will tell me to do otherwise.

Of course my work shots will still be pretty standard fare.

John..suggestion that Ive always wanted to make to a skate boarding Photographer was to catch crazier angles..like maybe stand inside the bowl when hes doing a Hand plant? that sorta of thing..I know you work with a tripod and that..but diff angles that you dont see often would be sick..and yeah def take that second pic into the shop, the hue on his skin matches perfect with his environment.good shit.

Actually I never work with a tripod unless I am doing long exposures (night shooting) or sometimes when doing nature shooting. Otherwise it is all handheld.

I am working on doing some shooting with the exact type of stuff you mentioned though but I am having to do some odd kinds of negotiations to get the riders lined up to let me get in their way like that.

I figured it would be hard to set that sort of thing up with the skater..But its do-able...just let me kknow whats up once you get some shit done! I'd like to see how it turns out.

If it turns out well I will definitley be posting the shots.

Forgot to mention though, on the second shot of the guy doing the tailslide...he came about 4 inches from nailing my lens when I took that shot. I was expecting him to do a different setup because he gave me the rundown of what he was going to do, so I set up real close to the edge...too close. Needless to say I took the shot and jumped back about 3 feet.
