I won't question food stamps anymore...
Some lady was buying cake mix, frosting, and pop. She had to dig in her coat for extra money for the candles.
I wondered why she was buying a cake and not real food, and she didn't look too hard on cash so why was she paying for things on foodstamps.
Well, when she got through she saw somebody she knew, and nosey me: they were talking about how her daughter was at Roswell Park with cancer and that wed. is her birthday, but she doesn't know if her daughter will make it past tomorrow.
I felt bad.
Mainly because I questioned it like she was using "my" money to make herself a cake, but...no not the case. I've seen more people that do need stamps than do not.

Growing up was a financial struggle for my family and myself and we had to rely on food stamps....I never look down on someone who has food stamps...cus you never know the reason why they are suing them
