i got a canon camcorder from my cousin.. i filmed some shit at a party the other night, i go out and buy the 35 dollar dv cable, rewind the tape all the way to capture it on my laptop.. and now it says EJECT THE TAPE on the screen in red letters and a high pitched beeeeep beeeeeep beeeeep sound whenever i put the tape in the camera.

any ideas? havent asked my cousin yet, hes at school

 

camera is fubarred. You're gonna have to get it looked at. Problem with a lot of the Canon Camcorders, I'm gonna assume its an Elura? Is that you don't even have to use it for it to screw up! I used to work in a repair shop and it was crazy the amount of canon camcorders to come in. People would say they used it twice and it would do that.
