Default 40 series or 50 series?

I want to replace my ricey sounding Aero-Turbine mufflers w/some FlowMasters, what series should I go with? I just don't want it too loud, but at the same time, it's got to have a little bit of tone to it.

50 series.

It's a base-engine Monte Carlo. I wouldn't want it to be any louder than it has to be.

50 Series (I'm slightly biased, seeing as I have the 50 series).

like, 5 days ago!

I aint paying for em, the shop is exchanging em since I got my current exhaust on their recommendation and am not happy with it. They're too loud, not cool. I'm kinda thinking I should go w/the 50 series flowmasters, they are the quieter of the two. I just hope they are noticeable at WOT and have a little bit of a tone to em.

Have you heard the 40 series?

I think I may go w/the 50's too, afterall, I only have a 6 cylinder, kinda thinking the 40 series won't sound too good on it.
