Default so me and my friend wet sanded and polished my hurting hood..

came out better than it was, but still far from perfect. theres still a good bit of pitting in it, but at least now its fairly uniform.

what polish did you use on it? it looks better but it needs some more loving

have you tried using fine rubbing compound? I recommend 3M. Then use Polish. it'll look 10 times better

we used 1500 grit paper, then no. 7 polishing compound, and then meguires cleaner wax.

haha, yeah it looked really flat and hazy. its getting better- needs more lovin though.

when I did my car, I used 2000 grits, 3M Fine rubbing compound, 3M Med cut cleaner, then Meg. #7, then Meg#26.

The rubbing compound is different than the polishing compound, you know that right?

The rubbing compound cuts more than polishing compound.
