Default Anyone have Luminic bulbs?

I am thinking about getting some of their "JDM yellow" 9005 and 9006 bulbs for teh Monte Carlo. I hope they're legal here!

So uh, if you have em, what one's do you have, how do you like em and would you buy them again? Pics would be appreciated

*edit*

Well, they aren't legal here, per 816.050 of the Oregon vehicle code which states "headlights must give off a white light...." So I guess I'll just get the 9005's which double as my DRL's

My friend has some in his lude but I don't know what brand or anything. He said they weren't as good as others he has seen but he did like them. Sorry, I don't have any pics.

Yellow headlights? :barf:

Way to try and look like a 1987 Volvo.

How long have you had em?

I found out that I can't run yellow headlights up here legally, so my DRL's are gonna be yellow only. Should look :grinpimp:

ive had my 9005 low beams for maybe a week. ive had the highs for a couple months now.

i let robyn drive my car around in a parking lot so i could see how they looked, and then later on the road. i really like how they look, and the output is very nice, especially in rain and fog.

I would tend to use a more white beam for the primary headlamps and if you have any auxiliary lamps put the yellows in there.

Whenever I get around to it I'm going to put fake xenon white H4's in my main headlights and yellow H3 (or H1, I forget what kind my car takes) bulbs in my fogs.

I'll probably get around to it when one of my existing bulbs burns out. h:

Also check out www.rallylights.com, they have Hella bulbs for mad cheap. "Yellowstar" is their yellow bulb. Optilux XP+ is their hyper white bulb, Optilux XB+ is their more blue bulb.

Yeah, that's what I am relegated to do due to Oregon vehicle code.

Thanks for the link and heads up on bulbs! I'll check it out.

I don't get this trend.

Like someone said, it looks like the plastic lenses on old 80's volvos that fogged up if you looked at them incorrectly.
