Network question
No..assuming you have cable. In some instances Verizon will give you a dsl modem/router, but in your case I will assume you are using a cable modem.
1) You need a router (wired or wireless, both are about the same price now)
2) network adapter for your ps2 if it's not already equiped with one.
When you get a router ditch that USB connection and use an ethernet cable and plug the computer and ps2 into the router.

I have a Cable modem, yes, that connects to a wireless router that I have. Wireless routers can have wired connections in it aswell, so an ethernet cable connects one computer to that wireless router. I also have this computer, that is about 30ft from the router, which is why I am using a usb connector for the wireless netowork adapter. So what i'm asking is, can I connect the ps2 to my computer, so it runs off of the wireless network adapter... kind of like fowarding from the ethernet line to the usb line.

you can forward it to the USB port on your PC but PS2 wont recognize the connection as a network connection.

Modem > router > wireless usb adapter > PC > ethernet cable > PS2
I think it could work if you set up the PC to share its internet connection? Maybe? :dunno:
The PS2 won't do networking over its USB port, only ethernet.

I can work around it, but I was only curious...
