One time I drove up to Ventura armed with 4 Red Bulls. Left SD at 12:45am, got there ar 3:30am. Had I known Rockstar was cheaper I could've gotten away with just 2 of those.

Usually for energy, nothing imo is better than water. Of the energy drinks I've tried though, I'd have to say that redbull or monster are most tolerable vs. others. Anyone tried an energy drink by the name of sparks? Energy drink + alcoholic content; a lot of the rednecks here drink it :chuckles:.

Well if you want to get technical the only thing that really "gives you energy" is something that your body can break down into glucose and use to produce ATP to power your cells. Stimulants like caffeine and whatever other stuff they put in energy drinks increase your metabolism and cause higher levels of blood glucose. To use an analogy, glucose is like the body's version of gasoline, and caffeine is like nitrous. It doesn't give you any more fuel, just makes you use it up more quickly.
