That sucks man. Hopefully they can just keep him stable and pain-free until he goes.

As for the transplant like rich said no. They cant risk transplanting to someone who will eventually mess up his chances for survival by drinking.

God bless ur uncle and family, i lost my uncle in 01 from colon cancer. they thought the docs caught it in time. life's weird man, cherish whatever time u can with him!

Well, he's at home still, but I know he's suffering. I just hope I can keep my composure when I see him this weekend.

yea, i can 100% relate mine was diagnosed too late and he died about a week later.

i agree with you on the alcoholism being devastating.
