My godmothers, daughter's, husband. Is a State trooper. And @ one point last year i wanted to be a police officer. But i have kinda shyed away from that.

Anyways he approached me @ a family party and asked me if i would wanna do a ride around this weekend 3pm til 11pm. I said Yes.

So i'm not sure what i'll be expecting.

HAs anyone ever done this? He said Saturday nights are usally exciting.

 

Given the opportunity, I'd do it. It'd be pretty interesting to see what actually goes on.

Right now i'm a criminal justice major (gonna be a cop). I do ride-a-longs all the time and they're awesome. THeres no telling what the night will be like though.... sometimes saturdays are slow... sometimes they're not... its just the luck of the draw.

Ride-a-longs are a blast. When I did them it was with the fire department/ambulance. My first ride-a-long was to the scene of a totalled car on the freeway with a person trapped inside, they asked me to go get the jaws of life, I was like !
