The idea behind them is okay, but you need access to a vacuum or a manual evacuation pump if you open it up to get something out. Neat way to put four suitcases worth of stuff into one. Also good for outdoor uses like when canoing to remote areas and you have to carry a lot of stuff that you don't want getting wet.

Just roll your clothes. You'd be amazed at how much more you can fit in a suitcase by rolling up clothes.
