Law enforcement deals with criminals on a daily basis...you have a first hand look at how little motivation a criminal needs to memorize a plate and use that to their advantage.

Oh, well of course, shitheads are shitheads and do whatever they're going to do for no reason at all sometimes.
My point is, I don't go zippin' around at high speed, or cutting people off, or whatever else to make people unnecessarily memorize my plate, track me down, and "pay me back," so I don't mind personalized plates.
