Credible Sources
Tom suggested in another thread that we try to come up with a list of news sources that we think can be reasonably trusted by people with opposing viewpoints.
I urge anyone who posts in this thread to avoid unsubstaniated claims. If you think you can prove that Sean Hannity or Al Franken lied about something, post a link to a source that quotes what the guy said and then post links to the proof that it was wrong.
If we're going to take this seriously, lets also keep the flames to a minimum.

Additionally:
I think this will be a more effective exercise if we limit the definition of a "credible source" to specific journalists. Its generally accepted that the Wall Street Journal op-ed page is fairly right-wing, but the news pages are, in my experience, unbiased.
Pundits (Limbaugh, O'Reilly, Franken, Randi Rhodes) are not welcome here.

If you're not interested in a thread, then don't fucking read it. Its not that complicated.
Honestly, I don't trust anyone. I am skeptical of everything I read or hear. I am not even from MO, but show me.
It used to be that I trusted print more than TV or radio, but really, EVERYONE has an angle. I don't know enough about the journalists doing the reporting, so I could not really quote you on individuals. I am not cynical, I am experienced.
