I would have just used some old valve springs which work just fine and they are free.

I need some of those...I somehow managed to lose mine, so I had to hookup my downpipe right to my cat w/out the springs. Now my exhaust "pings" when I turn the car off for a few minutes.

I will take a look and see if I have some sitting around. I used to have a stack of them but if not I can stop by and grab a couple off of Wes at RD for ya. Just let me know.
