Gung Ho

Aside from that he has had good success I just don't feel the combination is necessarily a good one.

The PJs he was just an executive producer not a director. You need to realize that every great director can only do so much with a half-azz screenplay and script.

Also the director's only only job is the vision and look of the film as far as the story telling that is left to the editor who for Ron Howard is Daniel P. Hanley which usually edits all of Ron's films. I am an aspiring director as well and am still learning a lot of stuff. I believe the movie will be awesome.

Who would you like to have direct it?

well technically its more of an anti-religion movie...seeing as how its refuting the bible and catholicism.

Bruckheimer

:lmfao:

Just kidding. Not sure who I would pick really.

If Daniel Hanley is Rons script editor then they work together and collaborate on the edits and direction of the movie and what makes it get there. So Ron does have a hand in how the story comes together as well as the final outcome of what hits the screen

it doesn't really refute it, just "states" something thats actually quite irrelevant. but its still garbage, regardless.

Well I've never read it, I'm going off of the general consensus of what others have told me. From what I've heard, I have no desire to read the book or see the movie.

I'm in the middle of the the book right now and I have to say it's a fun read. It's no literary classic, but it keeps you moving. I'd say, it's an adults version of Harry Potter. Funny, just the other day I was saying that the book "reads like a movie; it could so easily be made into one." And voila...

This book only seams anti Christian if you don't know the facts he takes creative license on. At the point I'm at, it's starting to get rediculous. But, if you just take it as a ride, it's fun. I'll be interested to see the movie.
