Manual under all conditions.

stick all the way. I sit in heavy traffic on my commute home and I don't mind stick at all. its so much more fun to drive than an auto. besides you'll like the prelude way more than the accord if you want something sporty.

I went from Auto to Manual... some days I love Manual, some days I want the clutch pedal to go away.

City driving isn't all too bad, so long as you still use the stock clutch and the traffic isn't crawling/rubber necking.

I would suggest picking up a really cheap manual car to try out and learn, if you like it, then buy the real car, if you don't like it, you're not stuck with an expensive mistake.

after a week, youll be used to it.

ive never owned an automatic car and the only auto cars i drive are my wifes camry and my father-in-laws truck. it's not bad but i definitely prefer manual over auto.

Manual. No question.
Not even Lombard St would make me change to a slush-o-matic.
