summer art class....
i need an ART class to finish my bachelor of arts requirement. and because i'm taking 17 credits this fall, i can't squeeze in a 3-credit ART course. therefore i'm going to take a PSU equivalent ART course at MCCC (Montgomery County Community College).
ART 151 - Basic Photography I
it should be interesting...and i'll learn how to take better photos than John

i was hoping it would be held at West Campus (which is right here in my town
)
few more q's ...
what kind of gear will you need for this class?
is it a newer class that works with digital cameras and photoshop? is it a more traditional class that requires film and dark room development?

This is a basic course in black and white still photography. The photographic process, from exposing and developing film to making and mounting the print for presentation, will be taught. The camera will be used to explore and discover the visual world; with the goal of using the photographic image as a means of expression. Information obtained in this course can be applied to all branches of photography. Students must supply their own adjustable camera and lens, film, photographic paper, and some miscellaneous items.
