A 17-year-old girl from North Tonawanda died in a car accident Friday night on Dickersonville Road in the Town of Porter.
Officers for the Niagara County Sheriff's Department believe Allison Clark accepted a ride from Sean McAndrew even though he was allegedly drunk at the time. The two later crashed into another car. Both were taken to Mount St. Mary's Hospital in Lewiston. Clark was pronounced dead on arrival. McAndrew is now being treated but his condition is now known.
Police claim McAndrew drove through a stop sign and collided into another car before hitting a tree on the side of the road.
The driver of the other car involved in the crash was taken to the hospital but later released.
McAndrew has been charged with D.W.I. More charges could be added in the next few days
A few people at work had it bad today. Just crying on and off. Not much you can say or do, other than try to make jokes about things and get them to smile a little.
One girl had an 8 and a half hour day today. She was good friends with the girl, and had come into work on saturday to buy some things crying. Her eyes were bloodshot from crying today. It's like she cried all here tears out.

there have been at least 4 stories like that in the past year and a half or so around here. most recent, a girl who was drunk crashed and killed her best friend. before that, a kid was drunk and was going easily over 100. he killed his one of his friends who was riding shotgun, on a person's lap.. in their dad's ferrari
