I was thinking blue masking tape would be thick enough to protect it from rock chips and sort of blend in with the blue as people will just think i bought mismatched fenders, hood and bumper

They're gonna be too wide. I think TL A-Spec rims are 8" wide.

Offset of the wheels might look funny with the wheels inside the wheel well. Not sure if 10mm makes that big of a difference
