Default computer admin experts, need help

i set up my computer from school so my dad has an account on it also. i set his account as limited, but i want to make it so he can only see certain folders on the C: drive and certain programs on the Start menu. I just want to prevent him snooping around and seeing something I might not want him to see.

you can go into the properties of each folder you don't want him to see and deny access

depending on the os, you can use policies to limit access.

Just right click on folders that you dont want to see and go to the securities tab and remove his user account from that folder so that he wont be able to access it./

Make a new account for him to use, and I think there is a way to set everything in your "Documents and Settings" Folder to be closed off for him..

Edit: Ya, right click on Documents and Settings and select properties, the second tab allows you to make it private, so other users cannot access it.

My girlfriend encourages me to keep pr0n :eek3:

N E ways, all the advice listed here was good... just make sure you're not running any desktop assistant/searching apps like Google Desktop, because then he may still be able to see some of the files
