Okay. It's not like I was driving around looking for another beater but my gf and I were coming back from 7-11 when I look up and see a '87 corolla coupe trunk style, sitting in a parking lot off of the main road with a For Sale sign. I pull over and check it out and the body is in pretty good shape, no rust, automatic , but interior is nice and i spotted a cd deck with detachable face. The sign stated $500 Make Offer. I called the woman up and she didnt have time to show it today but I said I'd giver her $350 cash after a test drive if I like it and she said "Ok. I can do that." Hopefully everything checks out and I'll be on my way home with it tomorrow afternoon. I'm syked. It's got 200k but she said it runs good and very reliable. It's not a GTS, at least there was no badge. Anyone know if the 87's are RWD or FWD?

ya cant go wrong with a 350 dollar car that runs. my accord doesnt even run right now...so yea.

 

Yea tell me about it. I think its a steal. I just don't want my hopes to go down if I see any problems with it.

i love the cressida. i had a 1990 for my first ride and that thing was fun to drive. a rwd car in corners is something everyone should try.
