And now I have to choose between the US Theatrical Release, and the Original Chinese Version.
I don't even know what the difference is.

 

The US theatrical version was cut down by like 30 mins and un-dubbed from English, then subtitled.

The Chinese version might be dubbed in English, it might be in Chinese with subtitles, I'm not sure on that point though.

The Chinese version is definitely the full cut though.

Ironically, it might be that the US theatrical version is chinese with subtitles, and the original version is dubbed over in english.

I'd play the first coupla mins of the original version to see what language it's in, and if it's in the chinese with subtitles, then keep playing it.

 

yeah...the original was Chinese w/ subtitles. The US release has dubbed English, and Chinese or French w/ subtitles.

Shaolin Soccer was a funny movie. I haven't seen it in almost a year...and it took me a while to get laughing. But once I started getting it, I laughed at everything.

 

It was pretty good. not nearly as good as Kung Fu Hustle...but good nonetheless.
