Went out to the wrecking yard today to toss a Waggy shell into the shredder and while waiting for my friend to bring the pink slip to his Waggy I took some shots of this gorgeous though a bit beat Edsel.







There were three Edsel sedans next to each other and one Edsel Wagon all were different trim levels so it was kind of neat to see the differences between them all. The most interesting feature to me was the fact that the higher trim levels had a push button automatic.....that was located on the center of the steering wheel where the wheel meets the column (where the horn should be usually).

Pretty cool to see these cars even though they are ugly in most peoples eyes.

 

my grandma had an edsel with the push button auto....I loved that car......great pics...very sentimental to me :happysad:

:werd: I agree...the color makes them that much better....the bnw just doesnt do it for me
