Default Clear bra questions?

Just bought an Accord Coupe and want to protect it as best as i can. Wanted to know if anyone has had good or bad experiences with a clear bra? Is it worth the money? Will the clear bra stay clear? I seen a couple cars today and the plastic had turned yellow. Is this a common occurance? Thanks for your help.

Joe

I hope it doesn't matter that I posted in the accord sections also.

I had a 3M clear bra installed on my 05 RSX about 2-3 weeks ago. Paid $585. Some say its worth the pretty penny, others think not. It's up to you. But you do have to remember that the bra, clear or not, is not meant to make the car look nicer, its function > form. It will NOT look perfect everywhere, some applications are easier than others. 3M does guarantee the film not to yellow etc.. for 5 years. It can last longer depending on conditions etc...

I can say the outcome will depend on the installer. Get it done ASAP before u get any nicks in the paint. I did post some pics.. search if you like.

sean

BTW- the film will chip + mar... it is suceptible to anything the paint is. However, once peeled away, the paint should be like new.
