Like mentioned above...Union Square and Fisherman's Wharf are cool...also Pier 39 is cool. The Giants stadium is awesome, but I don't know if they're in town right now or not. Lots of sight seeing to do.

how long are you staying in sf for? because there is plenty to do in the area tourist wise to last a few days....but like everyone says you can hit the wharf, union square, chinatown, j-town, museums, the beach, golden gate, alcatraz, good food, plays/musicals, concerts, etc
