I'd rather drive my CRX than any of the newer model civics. Nothing really improved much.

I like old cars too... for any project car, it'd have to be old enough to be easy to work on.... if I had the money for a dedicated daily driver, I might get a prius or hybrid civic and not fuck with it at all, but any car that I wrench on personally should be a good 10 years old at the very least.
