Which would you pick...Ferrari Dino 246 GT (hardtop) or GTS (targa)?
Lately for whatever reason I've been thinking the Dino 246 is a cool little car. It was available as a hardtop 246 GT or targa 246 GTS.
Although a good deal of Ferrari targas over the years have looked essentially identical to their hardtop counterparts, that's not the case here. They have different rooflines and windows.
246 GT:

246 GTS:

The two of em next to each other:
(nevermind the perspex headlight covers in some of these pics, they're an option)
Personally I think the windows and roofline of the GT look better than the GTS, but the GTS does have the added fun factor of being a targa. Which do you guys like better?

Did what? The hardtop came out first and the targa came later.
The cars are built on a tube frame chassis so most of the body isn't structural. I'm guessing they thought the side windows woulda looked funky with the roof off, or something like that.
*edit*
Or rather, if you look at the roof of the hardtop it's kind of curved whereas the roof of the targa is pretty flat. The car wasn't originally designed as a targa but it was added later because the american market likes open cars. So I guess the roofline was reshaped to make the targa more feasible.

I didn't vote because they are both too purrrrrfect.
