i'm not going to go hug any trees or anything, but i think that littering is stupid and that includes tossing cig butts. i personally don't smoke, but i live with a couple guys that do and our driveway/porch always looks trashy due to cig butts being everywhere. i think it is disrespectful for smokers to trash up everything with their cig butts... but would i have swerved around and yelled... nah

Well let's see here.

I don't smoke in my apartment.

I only smoke in my car with the top down.

The only stuff of mine that gets stinky is clothes, and I wash those.

So no, generally speaking, I tend to like my things to not get stinky.

That would be why I don't smoke in any of my vehicles except the buggy.

Regardless if the top is down or not it still collects in the car and just because you don't want the smell in your car is not a good excuse not to use your ashtray.

I smoke and it bugs the shit out of me when people toss cigs out the window when they have a perfectly good ashtray in their car.

exactly... my roommate has a flawless Stealth RT/TT and it smells brand new inside but the guy that he purchased the car from smoked, and to this day when he is working on his car he finds smoke residue on stuff inside of his car

Okay, I'll agree with the fact that it's bad when a thrown butt lands on your hood or anywhere else on your car, but for those smokers who are out there, think about the folks on motorcycles. Now getting hit with a butt on a bike sucks. :upset:
