I'm having Lasik done at the end of the month. I cant wait! No more glasses! No more contacts!

 

There is also this new contact out that I saw on the news a few days ago.
You wear it overnight and in 2-3 days you will be able to see without glasses or contacts. What it does is reshape your cornea while you sleep ,but if you stop wearing them in the evenings you will eventually regain your old vision. These things are'nt cheap either costing around $1000-3000.

 

That sounds fun. Much safer than laser surgery, I gather. I'd get the laser surgery, but damn... what if I become a blind statistic? Scares the bejesus outta me.

And wow, I thought my vision was bad. My eyes have been at like 1.25 or 1.75 or something with 2's and 5's for the past 4 years. But, my eyes were never too terrible to begin with. My g/f has terrible eyesight, though. she can barely see anything without the glasses. I think that she might go legally blind when she's older. and she's like me, scared of the lasers.

 

I was thinkin about that but i heard later on in life theres a possibility u can go blind...I would love to go glasses free since my eyes reject contacts for some reason...

My eyes have been equally shitty since my sophomore year in high school...so 5 years. I told myself back then that I need to get glasses, and I'm still telling myself that today...and yet it still doesn't happen. I guess it'll take my eyes actually getting worse to get me off my ass h:

 

not in CA. if her eyes are that bad with corrective lenses then yes she is but if she can get corrective lenses which reduces it to say 4,3,2,1, etc anything under the limit, then she is not legally blind.

 

do you guys at least have a full head of hair
