Speaking of the TL's horsepower...

Am I the only one who thinks SH-AWD and more power is coming to the next generation TL?

yeh, but doesnt the v6 accord coupe basically fill its shoes now?

from what i've seen it is very much alike the 2003 cl 6mt...

it kind of does,
from the base cl - 225hp.
the type s cl - 260hp
accord v-6 coupe - 240hp

its around there, but still, its pimpspactaucular.

i wish they would redesign the TSX (taillights especiallY) into a 2-door coupe. then with the 2.4L turbocharged motor....BLAKALAKALAKALAKALAKA!!

I doubt it unless the RL received more power as well. Otherwise there would be no real reason for the RL.

in size yes, but not in performance. The Accord Coupe does not have the sporty suspension setup that the CL Type-S had. Though if you modify the suspension I guess that doesn't matter. It still doesn't have all the luxury though.

I should think the RL will receive more power. At this point I have to think that Honda is developing a marketable V8. Even if not, the RL is a larger car that competes in a different segment than the TL. I could see them both having SH-AWD.

The new Lexus GS has an available AWD system. With SH-AWD on the rest of the line, Acura would be even more competitive than they already are, and be more appealing to the performance buyer.
