Yeah so that was pointless
So I went and bought a new laptop because I was pretty sure my old one was done.
I get home and before I even open the package I decide to try one more thing to try and rescue my laptop and capturing all the files I had in it. Well it worked and once I was done I figured I would see if the laptop was still functioning properly.
Looks like it is doing just fine and tomorrow I take back the new one since I don't need it after all

Luckily a lot of the pictures that I had in it were stored elsewhere...websites, cds.
