Auto Insurance.
Well, after 2 years of suspension after suspension, I'm finally going to be able to have a license again and be reintroduced to my EK. I wanted to hear your guys' thoughts on the cheapest insurance rates you have found. I'm a 22 year old college student with 3 violations still on his record, so the quotes I've gotten so far have been pretty steep.
Thanks guys.
Thanks guys.
the ONLY way to get "cheap" rates is to have the minimum coverage required by law in your state.... meaning liability only with the minimum level (probably 15/30 and 5). as far as if this is recommended..... thats your decision. if you hit someone and the damage on their vehicle/property is more than 5g, then youre screwed if they come after you and sue. they get injured, and you have nothing near enough coverage and you live with your parents, say goodbye to your parents' house.

It's going to vary from area to area. Just call around and get quotes.
I have State Farm and they're pretty cheap, although my record is flawless...
except for one speeding ticket, a DUI, a running stop sign violation and countless exhaust tickets...but I got all cleared except the speeding ticket :exnbp:

Regardless of your driving record 90% of all insurance companies are going to rate you on your credit report

$1800 for 6 months. That's minimum everything and a $1000 deduc.
Even minimum coverage can be a hassle. Coming from Ca, I would say don't pay more then 100 bucks monthly not matter what (better coverage not being worth that in long run) and needing an SR-22 which I believe you will after a suspension is gonna fuck up your options a little....
I've had a great experience with andheard only good things about Progressive but you should do more research then a thread can provide (as i'm sure you know)...
congrats on driving again dude, it's gonna be fun like it was when you were 16 again!
