lol Zithromax is an antibiotic (a macrolide more accordingly) too, so taking it because of a fear of your infection growing immune to penacillin are kind of...ironic. Not in the sense that they work exactly the same, but that it can grow immune to either just as well...

avoid aluminum magnesium (antacids contain this). It affects absorption into the blood stream.

plus side...it is used to treat some STDs, lol

 

I didn't say I'm scared of antibiotics. I don't get sick and use them enough to grow immune. I'm just saying if you need to get better fast as hell, it's the way to go.

 

the zithromax three day pack would work wonders for me i think, but the school seems to like just giving out penacillin. the idea is that penecillin should really be only used in dire situations because there is only a few things (i think MSRA/VRSA) that can't be killed by it. i dont fel the need for it right now and it seems they are stubborn enough to the point where thats all they give out to make sure they kill whatever it is not thinking that the person might have a chronic condition like i do.... eeek

the idea is that if i take penacillin it may not work as well in the future if it doesnt kill all the bacteria.

bacterial infections in the last year have totaled to 3 so far, and i think if i am correct, which because of my history i can tell, that this will be 4. why is next week finals and why is my doctor 2 hours away :madfawk:

 

I was in the same boat last week. I had to drive home two hours to see the doctor. I got sick thursday. I had my biggest DJ gig ever on sat. Horrible timing. It never fails.

 

but i have no car, this means my parents have to drive 8 hours total to get me bring me back, then bring me back up and go back home :madfawk:

 

actually penacillin isn't very affective for anything anymore, lol.

 

i had a sore throat for like a week, then i started taking advil and it was gone :doh:

 

bad for your health....
