Hey, smokers, got a question for ya.
Could you guys tell me why you decided to start smoking? I want a concrete reason, not just "I kinda picked it up".

I was under stress,and i tried it to relieve it,it did but didnt.it only hides your stress for later.im trying to quit the shit now.dont smoke! I wish my parents would of beat my ass untill i coulnt think of cigerettes for the rest of my life but they didnt and now im hooked.

Why not? I did it 1st cause I was curious about it and like the old addage goes............"All the cool kids were doing it" I didn't start smoking hardcore until I got my license and at one point I was smoking 2 packs of Newports a day! I've since cut down to about 1 pack every 2 or 3 days of Camel Lights

I might add that I've "quit" several times over the years when I got sick of the negatives of smoking, and then when I get stressed out again I pick it up again for a while. So it kind of goes in streaks. I've been a non-smoker for periods of a year or longer and then I'll smoke for a few months until it disgusts me again.

Justy kinda fell into it...no seriously.
My dad smoked and I hated it, but when I got to high school it was a way to cover up the smell of pot because smoking was legal at that time in the "smoking area". So we would get blazed then on our way back into school we would have a cig to cover the smell of the weed on us. Just kinda became a habit after that.
