Default Best way to move on after a car accident

Anyone have advice on getting past the nightmare of a car accident. I was cutoff by an SUV two months ago damaging my left front fender. I was just driving normally and suddenly it happens, like a bad dream. Driving now is very stressful, its like every car will hit me. The worst part is that happened just after my new stereo and other related installation work in which I spent hours on.

Now, I more items to add to my "to do" list on my car.

Don't worry about it? If you worry about it too much, you are probably going to get into another accident. Shit happens, it wasn't your fault from how you made it sound. I've had some near misses, you're going to be shaken up for awhile but you'll readjust eventually. Take it as a learning experience, you'll know what to do next time in that situation.

you werent physically hurt, apparently, so shake it off and move on. If you were physically hurt, like a guy i know who has memory problems and a huge scar on his forehead as a daily reminder, that would be a differnet story.

It's a car. It can be fixed or replaced.

It looks like it is more of a psychological struggle for him.

Anyway, my gf got in to a bad wreck on the freeway, everytime she passes that spot, she gets a little uneasy. My best advice to you is to keep on truckin' h: Youll eventually get past it.

Good advice, as long as you are fine, material things are not as important.

learn from the experience and move on. there's nothing you coulda done to avoid the collision. so don't think that you're any less of a driver because of what happened.
