Dude complains that Prius price ranges from $34-44k depending on options. Wonders why it costs so much more than an Insight. "I know the Insight is a smaller car, but not by much."

That's ridiculous. lol.
I read an article a few weeks ago about Prius resale values actually going up a bit because of the huge waiting list to get one. People don't want to deal with the wait so they're sometimes paying 1-2k more than brand new. I'll try to find it.

I'd believe it.
Last summer when I sold Toyotas, we had one used Prius with absolutely no options that had a sticker price of $29k on it.
"You can place an order on a new one and wait 6 months to get it, or you can pay a little more and have this one right away."
