Chi Phi fraternity, you guys suck balls!

Their frat house is about a half block away from my building. They have a really big stereo system. They tend to play this really big stereo system out onto their front lawn and act like douchebags to the music.

I have been willing to forgive them for doing this in the past because at least they did it at a reasonable hour.

However today, on this lovely saturday morning where I should be still asleep, I was rudley awaken not long after I went to sleep, by the sound of dudes screaming, playing some kind of horn, and blasting the hell out of their P.A. system on their front lawn.

So I did the sensible thing and called the cops. Now I can only hope the douches keep playing their music long enough for a cop to roll up and write them a ticket for their douchebagness.

it's blue/white weekend here at PSU, so these people across the steet from me are all drinking and being loud in the common area of their apt.

 

and what time did all this happen? I know that around here they can use loud power equipment from 8am on. If it happened any time after then then I dont see how you have a gripe. Its not their fault that you went to sleep so late and barely got any sleep.

 

Here it's Mike went to bed at 3 am and is driving to Chicago this afternoon so he needs his sleep weekend.

heh, but i know what you mean. these desi's that live on the ground level like to keep the door open to their place and blast shitty rap music until all hours of the night.

i even screamed down "turn that shit off you FOBs!" and they didn't.

 

Noise is noise, you knew you had a road trip to make today and should have planned more accordingly.

I actually fell asleep at an earlier hour (like 2) but that was on the couch and I then sorta got up and went to bed.

Regardless of me needing to go on a road trip, it's very douchebagly to blast music on your front lawn in a densely populated area at 9:30 in the morning on a saturday when most of the people in the general vicinity were out drinking the night before.

I went to the frat's web page, and it says that this is their "Macho Weekend." Which as far as I can tell consists of standing around on their lawn drinking beer with themselves, listening to loud music while waking up the neighbors, and yelling "macho!" a whole lot.

 

I don't know what the laws are in the land of cheese, but unless it is REALLY loud, between 8AM and 10PM you can run your chainsaw or whatever around here. Hope you have a nice drive. You could always get a musk sack from a deer and drop it down their chimney. Then they would not be able to inhabit the place for a while. I can tell you this is an extremely effective technique.

 

Now if only I had a musk sack from a deer and a 30-foot ladder to climb up onto the rather high roof of their frat house.

I can see it now, me walking out of my highrise apartment building, partial deer carcass in hand and huge ladder over my shoulder, strolling down the block to the frat house where I then calmly place the ladder on the side of the house and climb up while the fratboys jump around on their lawn yelling "macho!" and expressing looks of puzzlement on their faces.

Hmm.

 

You can buy the musk at a hunting store, but you may want to pay cash to reduce the paper trail. I went up the fire escape and had a little ladder for roof access. You just do it on a weekday at about 3-4 AM. I guarantee it will be very quiet for awhile
